Before submitting a commission request, please read all information about my policies below. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Prep

I require that all models must be prepped and primed by me (for an additional fee) OR by a prep artist before I can begin work on paint. This is to ensure the highest quality of work possible and ensure my finishwork will last so that the model can be enjoyed for decades to come. This process involves sanding seams, logos, bumps, and any imperfections of the model. If another artist preps the model, I am not responsible nor at fault for any errors in the prep work that may show in the finishwork.

Paint

At this time, I only offer painting commissions (no sculpting requests). Painting a model is very laborious and can be strenuous. A single model can take 60+ hours to complete. I do not guarantee a timeline for commission model completion due to possible external circumstances. If I am working on a commission, the client will be updated with news and progress photos.

I do not guarantee my work to be LSQ, but I always put in the highest amount of effort to ensure the possibility, but faults may be found such as small bumps, brush strokes, speckles, etc.

Pricing

Prices are in USD. Pricing listed on my commissions page are estimates close to the final value, but the final value is affected by variables such as complex coat colors/markings or hair-by-hair detailing. The final value of a commission is determined after submitting the get a quote form, and the quote will be sent via email. I am at liberty to make adjustments to the initial quote at any point during the commission process within reason.

Payment

Payments are accepted via personal check, Zelle, or PayPal.

DEPOSIT

I require that 1/4 of the quote cost + prep fee (if applicable) be sent as a deposit to start the commission. Remainder of payment is due upon the model being completed before it is shipped. The deposit is non-refundable.

Once a model is completed, the client has up to 30 days to complete the payment in full unless on a time payment. If there is a failure to complete the payment within 30 days, the model becomes my property and will not be shipped.

Repairs

I do not do repairs. If a model is shipped to me needing repairs, I will not be able to use the model for a commission and it will be sent back on the buyer's expense. If a model I have completed and shipped needs repairs, I highly recommend using a repair artist. I am happy to provide repair artist recommendations!

Time Payments

Time payments are available excluding deposit & prep fees over a maximum time period of 6 months. Payment scheduling is agreed upon by both me and the client before the project may begin. Each payment is due monthly until fully paid off. Once payments are completed, the model will be shipped.

Payments are expected monthly on the agreed schedule. If a payment is missed for the first time, I will allow a one time 5 day grace period to have the payment submitted late within those 5 days. If at any other point payments are missed, the model becomes my property and will not be shipped. Payments will not be refunded.

Business Practices

I am at liberty to refuse work on a model or commission based on my discretion.

I do not work on non-plastic, non-resin, or non-pewter models (such as stone, bronze, wood, China, other breakables, etc.)

I do not complete business with minors (under 18 years old). Any business transactions must be with an adult over the age of 18, or a parent or guardian.

Shipping

Shipping is not included in the purchase or commission price. All shipping is upon buyer's expense. I ship all models to be carefully wrapped and protected, but there is always risk.

Shipping is at the buyer's risk - once the model is out of my hands, I am not liable for any damage or loss during transit. Buyer has the option to purchase insurance or priority mail shipping options.

I am willing to ship within the US, Canada, or other international countries excluding Russia. Please do not ship the model to me with anything you wish to keep or be sent back.

I ship to the address given. If there is ever an error in the address given to me, I am not liable for lost packages.

Refunds

All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges accepted. All payments are non-refundable.

Model Sourcing

In the event you are unable to provide a model for me to paint in a commission, in some circumstances I can source a model for you. This process includes selecting a model, finding one for sale, the purchase of the model, and shipping the model to me. The price of the model varies by availability, rarity, and the seller and I cannot guarantee an estimate.

Sourcing a model is an additional "finder's fee", plus the cost of the model, and the cost of shipping to me. I will not purchase a model to be sent to me without completed payment. Once the model arrives in my hands, my payment & time payment (if applicable) policies take effect.
